Waitlist Preference

Hello All!
Does anyone know if preference is given to waitlisters who are waitlisted for their home resort???

We are on the waitlist for a 2BR in either the BCV or BWV in November. Our home resort is OKW. If there are DVCers who are on the waitlist for the same time and same size unit, and their home resort is BCV or BWV, would they get first preference, or is the waitlist done in terms of when you actally went on(ie-"first come,first served?").

I believe it is a first-come, first-served basis. But given that you can go on your home resort waitlist before teh 7 month window, the people in front of you on the waitlist most likely have BCV or BWV as their home.

This also depends on "how" each individual waitlisted. If you waitlist for your whole stay, you will only get called if "all" the days come available at once. But if you waitlist day by day, you might get your days faster than someone who waitlisted for an entire week, even if that person has BCV as their home.

No that's clear. That day by day thing drives me insane though.

We are going to be there during the F&W Festival, so we thought being closer to Epcot would be more convenient. We have reservations at OKW, so I think I'll just leave it as is, and if the whole stay comes through at BCV/BWV, then great. I don't want to have 5 out of an 8 day stay come through and have to keep bouncing around.
