Waitlist Odds?

I'm pregnant and all I want is a fruit tart from the Boardwalk Bakery! We decided to go for the first weekend in June for our Anniversary and my fruit tart. Of course nothing that we want is available so I'm gonna chance the waitlist. Is there one resort over another where rooms typically open? We've only used the waitlist once and got it within a day, but that was from a many months in advance.

Your best bet for waitlists are the larger resorts, SSR, OKW, and AKV. I would say SSR would be the one with the best chance as I have found those rooms tend to be open the longest when I am looking for short notice trips.

We just stayed at SSR and didn't really care for it, but for a trip back home, we might just go that route. Is there a difference between the two at AKL? One "better" than the other? Thanks for your response!

What dates are you looking for? Boardwalk or beach? We've got a 1br the 1st week of June at bcv and my parents are going. So they won't be sleeping on the sleeper sofa my mom wanted a studio. I thought she would never get it but by chance when I logged on last week we were able to confirm 2 of the days. We waitlisted for another day and it was just confirmed.

I think they both have their advantages. Kidani has the bus come to it first, Jambo has the restaurants (minus Sanaa). It just depends on what you are looking for.

We're just trying to go for June 5-8. Boardwalk or Beachclub would really be the first options, so I'm going to keep looking, even if it's the week before thanks for your help, glad your waitlists came through!
