Waitlist in December

We are SSR members.... love our resort, but are thinking of maybe trying something else this December. I'm looking at the waitlist regardless. (Will be perfectly happy at SSR if not... We have our studio at SSR all booked.)

What are my better odds for Dec. 5 - 12th... Should I try VWL or BWV waitlist for 2nd week of December. Which do I have better odds of actually getting? Or are both a virtual impossibility at this point?

If this year is like last year, then I would say the both will be virtually impossible, especially since you can't do day by day waitlists anymore. I was waitlisted at BCV and BWV for a similar time last year (12/3-12/14 or there abouts) and I had to cobble together a trip that ended up being:
5 nights BWV, 2 nights SSR, 4 nights BCV (or similar) when I was really trying to split the 11 nights between BWV & BCV. None of those resorts are my home resort so I switched to OKW&SSR at 7 months and then had about every combination of waitlist that was legal last year.


That being said, it can't hurt to waitlist and see if the pixiedust happens.

BWV is a much bigger resort, so I'd say that your chances were better with a WL there, especially since VWL is VERY popular at Christmas time.

Your best option would likely be a BWV preferred view studio. Good luck!
