Waitlist II: The Sequel

We made ressies at OKW for June prior to our previously booked cruise to see this wonderful place....

Now, we want to try to get ressies for HH for the week of July 15 for a studio and a 1BR. MS waitlisted us. They could not tell me how big the waitlist is. Maybe its 1 member, maybe 100...

I know its late in the season and I know its the highest of high seasons. But, is there a reasonable chance at this late date? Or should we plan something else?

The good news is that the waitlist wasn't closed.

I'd have a backup plan in place in case it doesn't come thru.

Also, I'd make sure I was waitlisted day-by-day since you'ew more likely to get your reservation that way - you'll pick up a day here and there, but eventually have a better chance of getting the entire thing.

Also, if you end up missing a day or 2, call the resort and see if anything is available for cash to fill in any missing days.
