Waitlist hope

Question for Waitlist people. I currently have Kidani village studio savannah view booked from aug 12-19. I am trying for BLt. I currently have a studio standard view from 13-18. I am missing the first and last night. What is the likelihood of me getting them? I have both wait listed and check constantly. Thanks!

It's really an impossible question. You're doing everything you can do to book the room (single day waitlists and also checking the site.)

But for either day to fill, someone has to cancel. And there aren't a ton of BLT standard studios. There's also no way to know if you have someone ahead of you for a single day waitlist for the same room on either day you're seeking.

It sure wouldn't be fun to have to move hotels twice for a single day. It's going to have to be your call how long to keep trying, and also whether it is worth it to book a room at BLT on cash if you cannot get one via DVC. Good luck.

If a studio for another view is available, I'd book that too then change your WL to cancel the existing room. It'll be easier to move within the resort than out to AKV.

If the wait-list does not clear, you have 4 options.

1. Book DVC-discounted cash room on the same category, there is no room change.
2. Book general public disney.com cash room, on the same category, make sure you pick BLT and not contemporary resort, there is likely no room change either.
3. Shorten your trip.
4. Stay elsewhere for those two days, but you will likely be annoyed by early checkout and late checkin gap, as well as the packing/repacking.

If you pay cash, then you can rent out your spare points to recover the cost so it's not a complete loss either. Good luck with the WL
