Waitlist for May

Has anyone had any luck for waitlist coming through for this May.
We have a confirmed ressie for May 12, 13, 14th at AKV Kidani (very excited) and then a confirmed ressie at OKW for May 15, 16 and then a cash ressie for the 17, 18th. We have a waitlist for OKW 17, 18 and AKV Jambo (figured more likely than Kidani) for the 15-19th. What are my chances do you think???

We are going May 1-8 and have ressies at SSR. Have waitlists at both BCV and BWV and neither have come through.

I just booked a trip Monday for the last week in May. We were able to get a 1 Bdrm at SSR. Both 1 Bdrms and Studios were open there.

No other availability for 1 Bdrm or Studio at any other DVC resort.

We are wait listed for a savannah view at Kidani for May9 - 15th, we have a standard view now. Hoping something pops up this week, we are almost at the 30 day mark.

We are waitlisted for May 10-16 for AKV (ANY studio!) or BWV We have a SSR Studio currently. We're holding out hope for AKV but will be happy anywhere at WDW

hi: we've been waitlisted for a couple of months for bcv or bwv 2br for 5/6,5/7,5/10, and 5/11 without any luck. guess we'll be doing the split stay(s) this trip. it's our own fault; we didn't book this early enough.

I gave up 5 nights AKV value 1BR for May 10-15th just a couple of days ago - needed to switch some days and booked SSR 1BR for May 7-13th. It's coming up on 30 days out so maybe you'll have some luck! I could have had 1 BR Standard or Savanna for May 8th & 9th - they just didn't have the 7th and I didn't want to waitlist.

I have a waitlist for a savannah view studio at Kidani for the night of May 24th and have been on it since January. We have a standard view at Kidani for that night and was hoping for savannah view. I'm not giving up, but I don't think the chances are good.

We're waitlisted at OKW for 5/7 and 5/10 and have rooms booked at the sheraton safari just in case, but it totally stinks because we'd check into the safari on the 7th, at OKW for 5/8 and 5/9 checking out on the 10th, back to the safari on the 10th, and back at OKW on the 11th....grrrrr.
Waitlist please come through!!!

Waitlisted May 24 and 25th for a 2 bedroom Jambo House Savanna or 2 bedroom WLV. Curently have a reservation at SS 2 bedroom.

call MS on 31, 30 and 29 days before you arrival.

you might get something. You need to call because at 60 days all unused villa go directly to CRO.

you need a cancellations and need to claim it before it goes to CRO.

if this doesn't work - doubtfully - although have gotten my wait list as close as 5 days before.

Does anyone know how many 2 bedrooms/Savannah there are in Jambo House or 2 bedroom's in WLV? Wasn't there a post showing all the DVS's and how many of each type of room?

We decided to plan a last minute vacation since we have the extra points and APs, so we're booked for the 17th-22th in a 1 bedroom at SSR and we're waitlisted at VWL and BWV. I plan to call back at 29, 30, and 31 out, as has been suggested, but I think we're not likely to get what we want. DH does not like to move, certainly not more than once, and he likes SSR. He really wants to stay in one room for the duration, so I'm not holding my breath.

I've have called and called and called for 5/5 - 5/7 at BCV's or BWV's (any room) with no luck. I decided to NOT waitlist for fear they'd screw something up and loose my AKV's value room. I figure if I call and they have something great, if not its no big deal.

So much for May being slow.... we've been trying to get Ohana or Chef Mickeys with no luck either. Well, if we wanted to eat dinner at 9:50PM they had openings.

We are going May 23-31st...

Currently we have a studio at SSR for the 23-25th, and then 1-bedroom at BWV until the 31st.

We are waitlisted at BWV for the 23-25th in a studio....nothing has come through yet.

We are hoping something comes through for that first weekend so we don't have to move from SSR to BWV mid-trip!

I don;t think this is true at all. maybe some go, but not all and if you are already waited listed you would get it before it goes to cro

I booked my AKV trip in feb for end april. I had a waitlist and it came thru about a month later..don't give up hope. be sure and be flexible, like adding a day ata time

Our waitlist for OKW came through for the 17,18th of May. YAY!!!

We are still waitlisted at AKV for the 15-19th but I am soo glad the OKW came through so we don't have to pay a cash ressie cost.

Our waitlist came-through this mornning!!!!!

We were waitlisted for May 23-25th for a studio at the BWV. Just checked online and it came through for a boardwalk view studio!!! YAY!!!

We originally had to book at SSR for Memorial Day Weekend and then move on Monday the 25th to the BWV. Now we can stay at the same resort the whole time!!!
