waitlist for Dec 27-any chance?

Hi . I dont want to be home for New years eve this year! THe 7 day Eastern is booked up solid, so I asked re a wait list-was told @ DCL last week-that they dont do that . Any idea of the chance that I have on getting on for 2 ? Just cruised in Sept -used all of my DVC pts, so I want to go inexpensive this time, so waitlisted for a 11 or 10 inside cabin. Can fly from Toronto to the Riu Tequila in the Mayan Riviera in Mexico-thats available-all inclusive 5 star & i have been there 3 x s& love the area & the resort-but I will have to book that mon @ the lastest if its still there.

Floridaminnie, thanks for the Pixie Dust! where did you go to check to see what was available? They had a verandah room, but the price was was to high for me to pay! Have you been on the NYE cruise before? thanks

I went to expedia.com and saw three cat. Just remember cat 9 being the lowest cat. available.

No this is our first NYE cruise. It' been in the works since July 2002. This will be our 4th Disney Cruise though!

We're on the 12/27 Magic, too. We booked in August 2002 to make sure we got a secret porthole cabin. Its still a very expensive time to cruise, though.
We did new years eve on the Wonder in 2001 and loved it.

We are sailing 12/20 - but had originally planned on the 12/27 - we were lucky enough to find cabins through a TA that deals in mouse ears vacations. I found them by searching via google for some combination of "Disney Cruise sold out cabins December 27". There were several TA's that still had rooms they had booked 18 - 24 months ago. (This was in August -- )
