Waitlist E-mail Confirmation Poll

I had a wait list confirm today, but did not get an e-mail notification. If I didn't see it on the website, I would not have known. Have you ever gotten an e-mail notification of a wait list being confirmed?

I also asked this on the DVC Member Facebook page, but would like to ask here as well.

We have only done one wait list and we got the email. Do you normally receive emails from DVC regarding your reservations? Have you checked your spam or junk mail?

For me it's been hit or miss on email confirmation of waitlists matching. Last year I know I got an email when a waitlist matched, but my most recent waitlist match I never would have known had I not noticed that my points balance had changed. I always get the DVC email when I book a new reservation, so I know that's not the issue.

Edit: can you edit the poll to add more options? I have gotten the email more than once, but there has been at least once that I didn't get an email.

The poll options really don't apply so I didn't select. It's probably 85-90% of the time that we do not receive an email but we have a couple of times.

I've only had 1 waitlist fill. I did receive an email, but it wasn't what I expected. I was expecting to receive an email saying something like, "congratulations, your waitlist came through". Instead I just received one of the normal reservation confirmation emails with an additional night tacked onto the end of what I already had booked.

I waitlisted 2 rooms and stalked the DVC website and found the room at one of the resorts I waitlisted within a week!! Of course I took the room and canceled my waitlist

I went on to change my waitlist tonight and I find out it went through. I wish they would send something to tell you that you got your waitlist filled. had I not gone on tonight I would never had known until sometime down the road and it could have been an issue for scheduling. Don't get me wrong we are extremely happy we got our waitlist, we are now at BLT for an adult only trip, but if I had scheduled a BOMA breakfast that would have been bad.
they send an email when you book it should just be automated when any changes to vacations happen

I have gotten them but sometimes it has been a day or two after I have seen it on the website.

I have only had 1 Waitlist.( changing from a 1BR to a 2 BR 5 yrs ago at BCV but I did get notification)

I voted never...but I never get an email confirmation on any stays I've booked....I've spoken to MS confirmed by email,check spam folder... even changed it to my work email...nope never get them...
