Waitlist chances AKL Jambo end of August

Currently booked at AKL Jambo in a 1-Bedroom Standard View and I currently have 5 out of the 7 nights booked...with the two nights unavailable being in the middle of the week. I have waitlisted both (separate wait lists) and was wondering what everyone thinks my chances are of being confirmed. Is this a high in demand room/time of year? Newer to DVC

I am surprised that it is unavailable! I did not think the end of August was high demand time. However this year the DVC member cruise is in August, so maybe folks are extending their stay.

Is Kidani available?

If it's labor day weekend, it might stay tight. I'd book a studio for the same period if you have the points, and then cancel either as you get closer..

Fortunately, Labor Day would still be a couple of weeks away. I fairly surprised that only 2 days are unavailable over the three week span. Of course they fall on my vacation haha! I'm staying optimistic that it comes through though!
