Staying at BCV the first week of January for 7 night.
But decided to waitlist the first three nights at VGF in a lake view 1br on the first day of the 7 month period. Of course it was totally booked at that point.

That was three weeks ago and the waitlist came through. I'm a bit floored but cannot wait to see what the rooms are like. will I buy there?, No Way. Putting DS 19 through college and all our cash is going into that.

Just consider ourselves lucky to get the opportunity to stay at VGF

Yay! The wait list can and does work. I've used it many, many times and more times than not, it comes through! Have fun at VGF! I have not yet stayed there, but I've been over there a bunch. Gorgeous villas!

Well then I may be sending a thank you your way. Our waitlist for the first night of BCV stay just came through, also for the first week of January. That puts our entire week together without having to move.

Glad it worked out for both of us. Family loves BCV but it was too good an opportunity to pass up on. DW now wants a new vacation wardrobe to match the glamour of VGF. I'm wearing jeans.

Great news. I do not have much luck with wait lists or website stalking. Glad that some DISers have their wishes come true!

Hey, mine did too!!! I've seldom had the waitlist work for me. I booked a week at BWV, boardwalk view, in late Jan. However, my first night, boardwalk view wasn't available. So, I waitlisted. I was sure I would be moving the next day. But, I got an email from Disney, welcoming us....for the entire stay!!!! I guess it does work out sometimes!

Yep I saw your waitlist request on santa's list and put in a good word for you.

Awesome. I am booked for BCV the same timeframe and I am waitlisted but it hasn't come through yet for the Poly. I am happy for you.

Our waitlist came through and we scored a BCV 1 bed that became available last night on the website. So we went from OKW 1 bed to BCV 1 bed and Kidani SV Studio to Bay Lake Tower LV Studio each for 3 nights end of July. So excited!!!

Gee, I can't help but wonder if you helped us with our waitlist! We were waitlisted for a 1 BR at BCV for 1/5-1/12, Marathon weekend and surrounding. Fortunately, our waitlist came through in a few weeks, and we're so excited. If your success helped, thanks!

Congratulations to all who's wait lists came through! I have a waitlists for a different type room at BLT over NYE. I'm OK with what I have, but would like to save some points!

Congratulations! We are going end of August and have cycled from AKV/BLT to Poly/AKV to Poly/VGF/AKV. I have one night at VGF waitlisted and hoping it comes through....just one little night! Would rather not move twice, but if we have to, AKV is still one of my favorites.

I could use a little of that waitlist pixie dust too. We have a split stay coming up in November (OKW/SSR). Hoping to stay at OKW and not switch - not a fan of split stays, I like to unpack and settle. Hoping my waitlist comes through, but plan to ask at the front desk when I arrive at OKW if the possibility exists to stay. That happened to me once at BLT -- We had two nights booked there and planned to move to AKV for the rest of the week. I asked at the front desk and they were able to find space for us, so we spent the entire week there. Never hurts to ask....

... And wait list didn't come through but constant checking availability did! We now have 3 nights poly and 3 nights vgf (studio, standard view) at the end of august. So excited! And amazed that it all came together even under 7 months

So excited to see everyone's wait list's coming thru! We're currently booked at AKV - Kidani Savanna view room. My kids requested a wait list at VGF, so I did it this morning, we are traveling Nov 14 - 22. I'm hoping it comes thru for DD's 10th birthday trip. I know this is a busy travel season, and we'll be happy with AKV, but I'm hoping for a little bit of pixie dust.

Congrats to those whose waitlist wishes have come true! Crossing fingers for ours....a studio at PVB the first weekend of Food and Wine this year. LOL!!!!!! Hey, can't blame a girl for trying. :P

We booked our first dvc start for December. Our first night we are booked at Saratoga in a 1 bdrm and the next 6 nights we are at Animal Kingdom Kidani 1 bedroom Savannah view.
Hoping our wait list for the first night comes thru. I'm just excited to finally be a DVC owner and having our first trip booked. Our kids don't even know yet.
