Waitlist Anxiety

I just purchased DVC at SSR and I was able to make a reservation for Oct 11-18, however I am waitlisted for the second night (in a 1BR waiting for a studio) Does anyone know how long it usually takes, I don't know if I should be concerned yet or not. I really don't want to move twice. Also, many thanks to all who post on this forum as it was so helpful when deciding if DVC was right for my family.

We booked a 1BR at OKW for August about a month ago. One night in the very middle of our stay was not available. I decided to go ahead and wait list. We were able to get a cash reservation for that night with the discounted DVC rate...maybe you can try that as a backup??? At least we knew we didn't have to move, but I really didn't want to pay cash...wanted to use points. I called a few times in the first week and a half and it still didn't open up. I think after about 10 days, I called and there it was! We were able to cancel the cash reservation and all is well!!! Good luck!
