Waitlist advice request

We’re arriving December 31 for Epcot and HS trip. I have swan ($$$) booked but have plenty of points available. I have BW 2 bdrm garden view waitlisted and also SSR 2 bdrm sv until 7 days prior to trip. I just scored jan 1&2 at SSR by stalking. Should I give up on BW waitlist? There has only been rooms become available on those dates at SSR since I’ve been watching but never nye. Split stay is a hard no.

I think it’s going to be tough to get, especially at this point as the 2 bedrooms are all lock offs.

That meant that once all the studios were booked, so were all the 2 bedrooms which may not have left a lot to even be booked that way.

Id stalk and try for SSR.

I’ll have to give up my two days at SSR on Nov 30 anyway if nye doesn’t become available. I guess on Dec 1 I’ll switch both WL to SSR, with one PV and one SV. I can’t get a reservation for dinner at or near swan anyways. Currently have a reservation at Boathouse.

@Sandisw when I originally set up my WL, I set it as “do not replace existing reservation.” However, now I do want it to replace an existing reservation if filled. Do I need to delete the WL and start a new one?

Call or chat with MS and ask them to adjust it by adding that note. This way you don’t go to bottom of the line.
If what you are waitlisting is different,, less nights, then cancel and redo because that alone moves you up ahead of those who need more nights.
