Waitlist >30 days out?

Hey gang. Anyone ever have their waitlist come through less than 30 days before your trip?

I thought the waitlist ended at 30 days out, but I've never had to use WL. Oh, check that, the guidebook says you can request your name stay on past 31 days until vacation, but not less that 7 days.

I had to call back when we hit the 31 day mark and ask to be waitlisted until 7 days out.....

I got BCV from OKW for a 2 bedroom in August at exactly 7 days out in 2003!
I had been on the waitlist since April.
