Did you submit you contract on the 25th or did it actually go to ROFR on the 25th? The 24th is the actual day we were submitted to Disney.

I knew it was to good of a price $80pp. Disney To there ROFR. I think I will see the web cast before I put in my next offer.

Your ROFR is making me nervous. Saw last week another one was ROFR'd at $82pp. We have one pending for 100 pts at 82 pp. It's been 15 days, nail biting time!

How long was it between your bid was submitted and the date you were notified of being ROFR'd?

Whoops never mind, just remembered you are the OP and I checked your first post. Almost three weeks.

Our "package" was sent to Disney on September 9.
We made an offer for:

SSR
300 points
September UY
264 points from 08
300 for 09
All of 10
Buyer paid '10 maintenance
$70 per point.

Tomorrow will be only 12 days but it feels like forever.

28 days and counting that we're waiting. Does Disney have only 30 days, or as long as they want? This is taking much longer than I expected.

Although I am all new to this, I believe my contract said Disney had 30 days to review and exercise ROFR.
From what I have read, most contracts get processed in about 3 weeks.

After waiting 3 weeks, and already having a week picked out we wanted to go, our DVC got ROFR'd. Others had gone through at the same price, but we think ours had too many banked points. The ones that were stripped of points seemed to go through at the same price.

We are waiting for an offer we made last week. SSR 100 banked into '10,+ 100 coming up in March, $74 point. Buyer/seller split closing costs.

It's our first try at an SSR resale. We've been back and forth about "wanting a treehouse, not wanting one." This way, we could have one with the DGC every few years. Some of us (me included) have very fond memories of staying in the trailers at FW, and these are so much nicer.

I hope it passes! I've psyched the family (adults, not the children) about getting one before the DCL trip we're all taking in November '10! I hope I'm not too smug. Disney ROFR'd our first attempt to buy into DVC in '03. We mostly have added on through Disney, but have made 2 resale purchases as well.

Four weeks is a pretty quick turnaround! It would have been quicker, but DD was in a car accident and I was unable to send the check and documents until the 22nd.

Wow! That certainly was quick. When will your points be in your account? I'm hoping to hear something next week on our contract..it will be 3 weeks.
Very anxious to book our vacation for next summer.

As long as I can make reservations before the 7 month window opens, I hope to get what we need.

We got the email yesterday that Disney waived ROFR. We bought 160 pts at SSR for $67/pt. We submitted on the 1st so it took 29 days. Good luck to everyone still waiting!! It's the worst!!
