Waiting Paid Off! WOOHOO!!

I've been stressing over return airfare from our Disney vacation this summer. I had decided we might have to just stay in Disney forever...

I was torn though as prices were much higher than I've ever paid, but with gas prices going up, I've been scared to wait....

Just checked and our flights that haven't gone under $170ish since I started watching were $72 today!!! Needless to say they are booked!! I love you Southwest!!!

Congrats and a big THANK YOU as well. We had booked return (MCO-PHL) for less than $100 a person back in December, but our flights to Florida have all been $180-250. After seeing your post, I just got a SW flight at $120. It isn't $72, but I'll take it!

Yea! So glad someone else was able to take advantage as well. I've felt like a SW stalker for the last couple monthsa and am relieved I don't have to be so vigilient until they release December flights ...

Looks like today is a big price drop day for Southwest all around - or at least a lot around...lol Yea for you!

I don't think we'll end up with any credits. I'll check from time to time, but our fares going were only 67 and these today were 72...about as cheap as we've been able to ever fly.

My flighst to and from Baltimore have not budged for June. $140 for wanna get away fares. Ugh. That route used to be $69 or $79 just a couple of years ago. Booked at $140 waiting to get a credit..... but not shure it will happen.

glad some flights dropped........unfortunately no price drops from Islip to Orlando for May or Sept

Yep. For the first time in history we actually saw flights we booked go down in price and were able to get $77 credit per ticket!

Sorry some of you didn't see those price drops today, but keep checking. I had given up and was buying next Tuesday no matter what at this point as I was not going to risk the slow creeping I'd been watching for the last couple months any longer....

Yep last week this same time I was able to book 4 round trip threw SW for 665.00. I was all ready to pay around 1200.00. I thought that was the best we were going to be able to do this year. I love SW right now also!!

checked again when i got home from work....the prices for our may trip went down $15 per ticket from this morning.......sept prices still the same
