just curios, we bought into AKV and are booking there just to be sure we get a place. We really want to do a grandvilla at OKW though, how difficult is it to get into one? I know we have to wait till 7 months out. Does that mean 7 months from the date we check in or 7 months from the Month we check in? We are looking for arriving on Nov 29,2008.

That is correct. It is doubtful a GV @ OKW will be available for that time frame as that is a very busy time for all DVC resorts due to lower point requirements and the Christmas decorations are up. OKW is our home resort and we made ressies in Jan 2007 for December 2007. I would suggest making ressies at your home resort and try switching at the 7 mos mark.

You titled your post "waiting for our pin number". You can get that from MS rather than waiting for it to arrive in the mail. The PIN plus your Club ID will allow you to log in to the members' website for the first time. But it won't help you secure a GV at OKW at 7 months out since there is no online booking and no way to check availability online either.
