Waiting for August Hours - All hours are up!!

OMG- I was just coming to say the same thing. I had to look at the screen twice, lol!

The Canadian site disneyworld.ca has all the Spectro, Wishes, etc information up. :cool1:

Now that we have all the hours posted, I see that 8/24 has EMH at AK in the AM and PM EMH at HS. I wonder if DH wants to try to do his "experiment" he thought of on our last trip and try to do all FP rides for all parks in one day.

On our last trip, we did 3 parks (HS, EP and some at MK) but we came up with the plan about 1/2 way through the day. If we planned right, and started at rope drop, do you think it might be doable?

Hmmmm....me thinks we might start off our vacation a little exhausted! :faint:

My vacation is from 8/29 thru 9/4.... at least I have the hours for the first 3 days! I'm half way there... Hope September's hours come out on time! And where IS Wishes?

Trust me - doing 4 parks in one day is so exhausting, lol! Even 3 is a killer.

Whoo hoo, I predicted every single day right for the hours for our vacation, I don't have to change a thing!!:banana::banana:

Something I noticed for those of us that straddle months and are sweating now that the August months took so long to come out when we need them for the first week in September, and was made clear by that Magical Kingdoms site with their handy color coding - it looks like Disney starts a new calendar schedule on the 23rd and it seems to hold true for the 30 and 31, which makes me think that it will continue at least for that first week, which for most of us is all we need.

Hope that is useful!

I was hoping for Spectro to be the finale for my niece's birthday on Aug 25, but it's also not in the cards. Oh, well- at least I know now.

It's so hard for me to plan this trip because it's my first time traveling with kids (my nieces) and I'm really not sure yet what touring pace will work for them. Also, they've never been to WDW so I feel more pressure to make sure I get things in; usually, I don't stress as much because I've been to WDW so many times and know I can come back.

(on that note, I just got a $99 credit on my SW airfare... so I figure I can take another trip to WDW this yr if the girls prevent me from getting my full fix this time :rotfl:)

OMG BellBway we are very much in the same boat! We are taking our nephew for the first time, and not quite sure what to expect. I know this about our trip and yours,...they will be great! It might take a day to figure out the pace of things, but you'll have fun no matter what! How old are your nieces? I talked about how I wanted Spectro so badly for that first night with my boyfriend and he said that as long as we got fireworks, we'd be good, and then we'd come back to MK on the 30th for the EMH and catch it! That was at 11 last night, and I was tired, so I just decided good enough,,no more unneeded stressing! (That and my boyfriend made me really happy by saying if there is anything we dont' do or see that we want, we'll just have to go back sometime later---he always threatens me before trips that this is the last one for awhile!)

I can't find Wishes anywhere for August? Also I've never been to AK is there a special night show there too?:confused3

Is anyone having trouble right now getting on the Disney web site? It is telling me the server is down. I am trying to get AK hours.

Yeah, we were pretty tired from doing 3. But we were also in a party of 10, so we had a lot of "meeting up" throughout the day. This time it's just DH and I, so I'm hoping if we plan it out right it might work.

And maybe I should have clarified - not all the FP rides, but all the bigger rides in the parks. So we would probably skip some of the rides geared more towards little kids. And neither of us likes Mission Space and Space Mountain will be closed - so there's 2 marked off the list already!

Oh - more planning!!

Can't get on either.

Why or why does a huge company like Disney have such a crappy website???:confused3

No, AK does not have a night show. They close much earlier then the other parks. I think the animals need to get to bed. :thumbsup2

I can't get on either but I have the AK hours:

Aug 1 - EMH 8-9am
Aug 3 - EMH 7-10pm
Aug 5 - EMH 8-9am
Aug 8 - EMH EMH 8-9am
Aug 10 - EMH 6-9pm
Aug 12 - EMH 8-9am
Aug 15 - EMH 8-9am
Aug 17 EMH - 6-9pm
Aug 19 - EMH 8-9am
Aug 22 EMH 8-9am
Aug 24 - EMH 8-9am
Aug 29 - 7-10pm

Check the site when it comes back up incase it changes...hope that helps:cheer2:

I can not get the park hours up either. So I went to the Canadian website and they listed the hours and they also showed Wishes for the day I wanted which is Aug 10! Yeah! :cool1:

Oldest niece :flower3: will be spending her 12th bday in WDW. Coincidentally, my 12th birthday sucked horribly so I am really glad it works out that I can do something cool to make sure hers doesn't. :rotfl: I had a really hard time at that age, and I remember reaaaaalllllly wanting a trip to WDW. I went when I was 5 but then not again til I was a teen.

Younger niece princess: will be 8 next month.

Neither of them have even been on a real vacation, so it will be a treat.

It's nice that you'll have your bf with you; my trip is just me and the 2 girls.

I know we'll have a great time, but I'll feel bad if they miss something like Spectro or Fantasmic.

I'm looking forward to reading about your trip when you get back!
