Waiting Cabs?

Quick question: Do the resorts have taxis waiting at the resorts or does one need to call for transpo? We are having a late dinner at AKL and don't want to deal with busses...... Thanks for the advice!!

If there isn't a cab waiting, just have bell services call you a cab. We did this in October. I think we waited under 10 minutes for a ride.

I call down to valet and ask they will hold one for me or oreder one over.Very nice.

We have travled by cab to or from the Contemporary, Poly, Boardwalk, The Dolphin, and Downtown. We never had to wait for a cab. There were always a couple outside the resort. We let bell services know we needed a cab, and they immediately called one over. Although pretty pricey, it is a really efficient way to travel around WDW, especially from resort to resort.
