I bought our annual passes today. Great deal on premium annual passes through DVC! Not sure we will be buying them every year, but with 2 trips planned this year, it worked out to be a better deal for us.

I also booked our fastpasses for our March trip and booked breakfast at Tusker House on our last day.

Probably will not replace the guppies unless my dil gives me some. I still have an algae eater in the tank, which I could give to my son if he wants it.

And guess what! Its snowing again! Yep, we got 15 inches on Thursday, another 8 inches yesterday and we are supposed to get another 5-6 inches today. At least the brunt of this storm is bypassing us and hitting further up the coast in New England. Sorry for anyone in that area who might be reading this. I'm done with winter.

My daughter, Kate, is the race director for the Baltimore Cupid Undies Run which is today. Its only a 1 mile run, but in underwear, in the snow through downtown Baltimore - Ugh. I am so proud of her for setting this up. It is a fundraiser for kids with neurofibromastosis - she has been fantastic in fundraising for The Children's Tumor Foundation

However, more of the nasty white stuff is predicted for Tuesday. Will my 5 day weekend become a 6 day weekend? Stay tuned for updates....

We are getting 4 inches on Monday and then it is supposed to be in the 40's and might even creep up to 50 with rain on Thursday and Friday.

Mo - I used the calendar link that was posted on the September FB thread. Don't know if its right or not though.

We had about 2 inches today, but I'm hoping it will be gone by the time I get home - temps are supposed to be in the 40s today and maybe upwards of 60 by Friday. One can only hope.

The Baltimore Cupid's Undie Run raised over $52,000.

I don't know about the hours, but I really don't think it will make too much difference to us one way or the other. I pretty much have our days sketched out and nothing is written in stone anyway - except the dessert party and MNSSHP. We are not late night people in any case so EMH don't mean too much for our planning.

I believe next year -2015 - we will be going in December, but that is not definite yet.

I finished up 3 more t shirts yesterday - a Frozen one for me, and 2 Pirates shirts for us to wear when we go the Pirates stadium. I guess if Charlie can wear Orioles shirts all summer, I can bite the bullet and wear a Priates shirt to a game - even though they are playing the Orioles----maybe I can wear my Markakis jersey over it...?????

I already have a title for my tr for when I get back, though I may start it on the trip depending on how time goes. I'm taking my laptop with me. I found some skorts at Kohls (online) and ordered some. I'm hoping they will get here this week so I can make sure they fit before the trip. These are my "go to" summer wear.

I also ordered a pair of Keen sandals and they came last week. I've heard so much about how comfortable these shoes are, that I bit the bullet and bought a pair. We shall see.

Shannon is on her way to Chicago and should be there later today. I miss her already....

Hey, glad your plans are moving along. I've been sort of out of it for a while between getting ready for my trip, the actual trip and being sick. Trying hard to get caught up with everyone.

Your daughter is wonderful to put so much work into planning that run. I'd never heard of that disorder, yet have heard about the other three mentioned. Isn't if funny how some diseases get all the publicity and funding while other, more wide-spread diseases languish in obscurity? Great job raising so much money, plus awareness!

Now I'm going to go back and read everything I missed for the last couple of weeks. I hope the snow stops soon and please stay warm!

ETA: Okay, all caught up. What a nightmare with the power outage. Now that you have a generator, you are almost guaranteed NOT to lose your power! Glad Shannon got home before the next storm hit. Lois, I see that Jennifer is going in for surgery next week - I've been keeping her in my prayers. Glad you are feeling better too.

Well, my adrs are almost all set, I just can't decide on restaurants for our last 2 nights, so I told Charlie that he needed to choose 2. I can't wait to see what he comes up with! I'm flexible about parks, at least right now, and since we will have park hoppers, we can move around if we need to.

"They" are calling for more snow next week - a major event. I cannot believe how cold it has been and how much snow we've had this year. I can't remember a winter where we've had so many days with temps below freezing.

Well, no matter what, I'm going to Florida next weekend - even if I have to get the dogs out to pull the car....

Yes, Jennifer is having a procedure to forcibly straighten her leg and then put it in a full cast. Thank you so much for the prayers. They do help! I continue to keep Jim in my prayers. Is he still planning to sell his house and move back east?

I can't remember a winter this cold either! We got snow several times yesterday and the temps are in the negative numbers. I am so grateful for a warm home and reliable cars since I know not everyone has those things.

I can't believe you're going next weekend!! (praying for no cancelled flights for you) How fun...and hopefully warm! It will also be fun to discover what Charlie has selected for restaurants. I like little surprises like that. And park hoppers are the best thing ever! I would hate to be tied down to one park every day!

Yes, Jim has his house listed for sale - fully furnished. It will be less expensive for him to buy all new furniture once he gets back then to try to have it shipped. Know anyone that wants a nice 3 bedroom house with an ohana (guest house) in Hawaii??? He can't leave until the house is sold - living in the topics, the foliage would take over in no time. He has good days and bad days. Gwen's birthday was a bad day for him, but he seems to be holding up well, otherwise.

No missed flights for us, we are planning to drive. I just hope the storm that is predicted for next week just disappears... Its too early to really call for that yet. We are going to get hit on Sunday, into Monday though. And once again, Charlie will be out of town. I think he plans it this way....
I'm hoping if we get hit hard that the County will close its offices. I just cannot afford to take another vacation day for snow. I barely have enough as it is and I refuse to give up my trips that are already planned.

Unfortunately for me, he is going to be a lot more travelling over the next year or so.

I get to make my adrs next Friday!!!!
