I will be at WDW beginning tomorrow, so I’m constantly looking at the wait times. Just got off the MDE APP and I couldn’t believe how low all the wait times were at 10 AM in the morning. Then I realize the Epcot opened at 10 AM this morning. Could it be that if 4 parks are open at the same time that the crowds are really to disperse that much.

I’ve been telling my family that we’ve got to do rope drop just to be able to ride our favorite rides, should I rethink this. Are crowds going down? It’s a Saturday morning. I sure hope so.

Also it looks like the weather will be better than I thought with TS Fred passing by. Now I’ve just got to worry about the new TS Grace. Lol 😎👍🏻☀️

I leave for WDW on Tuesday and I have also been checking wait times for the last few weeks. You're right !! Wait times were WAY down in all parks this morning! I even checked the weather there to make sure it wasn't storming or something, but no - clear. We usually went the last 2 weeks in August (Remember free dining!) and found wait times lower than earlier in the summer. Did not go last year. But now with no F+ not sure what to expect so glad to see the times drop like that. I'll wait until tomorrow and check again just to be sure it's not a fluke!

MK closes early tonight, thus the low crowds. Most people won't "waste" a ticket for no fireworks or evening hours.

We went to MK today BECAUSE of the early close - knew it'd be super low waits, similar to party days of the past.

Definitely can't rely on those wait times for future planning.

I noticed the low times all days at all parks. I few things got close to 60-70 minutes on MDE but no 180 minutes for FOP etc.

I hope this will be the case this coming week.

Even in my area where school isn't starting for weeks, most people planned their vacations well before. This isn't a typical school year, everybody wants to be 100% ready. Add Delta cancellations to that and crowds are likely to ease up for a while.

We did this same thing as well a few years back on a party night. It worked great with the lower crowds, and even with the typical afternoon thunderstorm, we still got in every ride we wanted.

Wait times definitely are low. Was at Epcot today and everything but Frozen and Test Track was 10 minutes pretty much through the day.

I saw crazy DVC availability and almost booked, until I saw a TS headed to FL. I'm a nope on that.
Oh yeah, the weather is likely changing plans. It sounds like this whole week has calmed down some. I have a feeling the summer rush has officially ended and the next month will be pretty manageable to visit. Hope so at least :)

My sister arrived Thursday. The crowds have been amazing! Crowd levels have taken a huge hit from the covid restrictions and covid levels (heck / everyone else I know besides my determined sister cancelled their trips for august and September because of covid numbers!!).

Im sure the potential hurricane helped as well! But today there was not a lot of rain and there were almost all sub-12 min waits at animal kingdom today! Even FOP was under 30!

Found this on the web, seems pretty accurate! ***.thrill-data.com/waits/chain/wdw/
