Wait times in July?

I'm planning a trip to WDW in July and would like to visit US for one day. I'm concerned about the crowds and wait times for the rides during July. Will I be able to see everything in one day? Is their version of Fastpass only for their hotel guests? Any info or suggestions would be appreciated as I am very unfamiliar with US. Thanks.

The parks are VERY crowded in July, but no worse than WDW. Yes, the express pass system at Universal works very much like the Fast Pass at WDW and is available for anyone in the parks. Just get there early and do as much as you can before 11:00. Get express passes for the rides you don't want to wait for and enjoy some shows too.
