What are the wait times like at Aquatica in the summer? Especially for the tamer stuff, but also the Loggerhead Lane (whatever the one is where you can see the fish from the tubes)? Is it less busy than the Disney parks?

I've found the longest wait is for the Dolphin Plunge slide. The Loggerhead lane entrance is a little weird as it shares the line with Tassies Twisters, the bowl slides. You basically make a line to get a tube from people exiting the lazy river, you get a yellow tube to ride the bowl slides or a blue one to just go around the lazy river,I've seen some slightly long waits but nothing too horrible. The most popular attraction in the park has to be the Roa's Rapids fast lazy river which you can ride with or without a life vest which are available at both entrances. The two large family raft rides can also have some long waits at times. The Taumata racer slides, the Ihus Breakaway falls drop slide and the two smaller single or double raft slides can have a wait but I've never had to wait that long for them.

Bump. I would love to know a little more detail, like # minutes for a popular attraction at mid-day.

I went the last week of May on a couple of week days, so that was before all the schools were out. The longer lines were for Dolphin Plung and Ihu's Breakaway Falls. But I don't think spent more than 15 minutes in either line because the crowds weren't bad at all. Now once Summer is in full swing, I could easily see those rides having 45-60 minute lines on a packed day.

I agree with DOOM1001 that the Loggerhead Lane entrance was weird. There were times that the entrance was a hot mess with people standing around deciding whether they wanted to stay in or get out, resulting in a huge bottleneck. But not a big deal.

Weekday time waits are much shorter than during the weekend. We always go when the park opens
