Wait time for Le Cellier

Does Le Cellier run late as far as ADR times are concerned? I was thinking of trying to get a 6:30 ADR there during free dining. I'm just concerned that I will have to wait way past my ADR time since that restaurant is so popular. If I went to Cape May Cafe instead (which I know is nuts to sub Cape May for Le Cellier) would I have less of a wait past my ADR time?

It all depends on the time of day, day of the week and what week you go. The best advice is to check-in at the podium early and that will at least get you seated closer to your ADR time.

We were there in Sept and we waited over 1 1/2 hours for our dinner ADR at Le Cellier. the CM at the podium said it happens all the time, because the dining CM's overbook them every single night. And no, it was not worth the wait.

It all depends..there have been times we had a very small wait, but there were a few times we had longer waits. The longest that I remember was about a 30 minute wait. It was a 6:00 pm reservation I think. One thing I can say is that the times we had hardly no wait was for the first dinner seating, which I believe is 4:30 or 5:00. For our next reservation in March we have a 5:00 pm reservation.

Maybe it's because I go for lunch, but I've never had to wait more than five minutes past my time. I check in 20-30 minutes prior to my time (they have a check in stand up along the WS walkway now, so you don't have to go all the way down to the restaurant. Usually, I can check in, make a restroom stop, and then go down to the restaurant and only have to wait a few minutes.

We had quite a long wait for our dinner at Le Cellier even with our ADR  It was close to 45 minutes :( It was during the summer so that might have been part of it :confused3 But we thought it was worth the wait :thumbsup2

We go every trip but it has been hit and miss with us. Last year was the worst and had to wait for over an hour!

We always had to wait past our adr time, but I think it's worst at dinner. I now only book lunch for this very reason, waiting for adr and slow paced restaurant it takes up to much of our evening.

We had a 50 minute wait past our ADR time when we ate at Le'Cellier. This was also during the slow time of the year in January and was a Saturday night. I'm sure being a weekend didn't help, but still that is a long time.

I think our longest wait was 20 mins or so. I enjoy the wait -- i get to watch all the peeps with no reservations trying to weasel their way in. Often trying to bribe with cash. :rotfl:

We ate at Le Cellier in Sept. Our ADR was for 4:55. We were seated almost immediately but when we came out (about 6:30) there were MANY people waited to be seated. I'm sure that the waits get longer as you get into the 'prime' dining times.

AS others have said it depends on several factors. We waited 20 mins past our adr time and we were one of the first dinner slots of the day.Le Cellier is always packed and a very small restaurant

We had a 7:20 ADR on Dec 18th, and didn't wait 5 minutes. That was our first time.

My guess...the larger the party, the longer the wait. I did not see many large party tables in the restuarant.

We waited an hour during our last visit. Again, they said they'd been overbooked.

Our group's pretty low key, so we didn't mind. And we loved our meal.

Last August we had to wait over 30 minutes past our ADR time (and we showed up 20 minutes early.) So the overall wait was nearly an hour. I thought it was worth it. We are going back on our upcoming trip.

Guess I will be prepared to wait. I will be going around 6:45 on a Monday during free dining. What am I setting myself up for? I really hope it is a good as I've heard it is.

Today we waited 5 minutes for Le Cellier dinner at 730pm and last night we waited 20 minutes for Cape May at 705 pm

We went this past September (during free dining) and had a later dinner reservation (7:55 pm). We waited for an hour and a half. I will say though that once we were seated the food made up for it! It was fantastic! Looking forward to dining there again this March!
