Wait listing?

Can anyone please try to explain how this works when you are renting points from a DVC member? I'd like to find someone to get me rooms at the BWV for August but what ifI have to "wait list" for the type room I want?

Very few members will agree to tie up their points hoping a waitlist will come through - there are just too many other opportunities to rent points that don't involve taking a chance on a waitlist.

If the dates/room type you want are not available, consider changing your dates or room type or resort.

If you have your heart set on a standard view room or a guaranteed Boardwalk view room, your best chance of getting it means finding a BWV owner to make the reservation 11 months in advance. If you're planning an August 2007 trip, you'll need to move quickly - it might already be too late. But you never know until the call to make the reservation is made, so good luck! (If you are OK with a Preferred View - Pool/Garden room, it's not too late, though).
