I have never used the wait list option. We have a 2 bedroom BWV June 23-30 and are waitlisted for BCV 2 beedroom. What are our chances of it coming through? I would also be happy with a split stay. Should I keep calling?
Yes!! Youd should call every day if you can!! Just to share my personal waitlist experience that I JUST HAD TODAY...
I had called to book a std. studio at BWV & they couldn't confirm all of my dates in the std. view so I took BW view because I knew I'd be calling back to add a few more nights beyond the initial 7. I got done thru 9 nights then hit a snag yesterday and had to waitlist my 10th night. I called back this morning around 10:00 to first, check on the waitlist and to also add 1 more night. The CM said the waitlist hadn't come thru & she added my additional night to the waitlist. THEN she asked me if I wanted her to just double check the std. availability so I said sure, why not. She then said no, that still wasn't available BUT when she started a new search she saw that there WERE BW view studios available for these last 2 nights that I wanted!! BUT the waitlist procedure hadn't picked them up yet or something. There is apparently a lag time between when the units are returned and when the waitlist program picks them up & re-distributes them! SOO it is possible for someone else to snag the room before the waitlist does!!
If you realllly want BCV then call every day to improve your odds!!

Getting a wait list for a whole week can be tough. If you would be satisfied with a split stay then I would call regularly to see if 3 or 4 nights at the beginning or end of your dates might be available at BCV and book them if they are. Then you can keep trying to add on to those if you wish. Good luck!
