Wait List for September or not?

I have reservations at Beach Club hotel for September 26-30 with an AP discount. I have called a couple of times about availability at Beach Club Villas for a studio and there has not been availability (I am not suprised since this is the first weekend of F & W). Should I even bother with the wait list since this is F & W and Beach Club Villas are very popular during this time and I want a studio?

It doesn't hurt to try, if you really want one. Especially since you have the AP ressie to use if you don't get the waitlist. As long as you aren't borrowing points for it...

I'd waitlist if it were me. Since it's less than 30 days away, some who were on the waitlist may give up. That means yu may be nearer to the top of the list.

But keep in mind the cancellation rules for the cash reservation. At some point, you'll want to cancel the waitlist (if it doesn't come through) so that you don't end up paying for two rooms!
