Wait For Waitlist or Keep Calling?

We are booked in a studio at SSR Dec 2 through Dec 7. We have been wait listed at just about every other DVC resort for either a studio or one bedroom. I am new to the wait list game so I don't know if I should just wait or should I keep calling to check if there is availablity? I don't really want to go day by day because we are only there for 4 full days but is that the best way to get a non-home resort? Thanks!

You can also check the status of your waitlist on the dvcmembers site. It is located under My Membership then View Vacation Details. I personally feel as though I am annoying the heck out of Member Services when I call them. I still call if the site is down! I do check everyday either way. You still have a long way to go, and you have a pretty good chance that your waitlist will come though. Hope this helps.

I have had luck with waitlisting especially, like you, if you do so far enough in advance. I have had success even for the exact week you are looking for. I would say to give waitlisting a chance!
