W.I.S.H. Shirt- somewhere in Epcot

First, I have to say thank you to all the WISH people,
especially the screamers for making my first race so
incredible. Your cheering kept me going and FINISHING!
It was great finally getting to meet some WISHers!

Now for my 1/2 marathon glitch lol!

At the very end of the 1/2, a little ways before
the finish line, I saw this wonderful WISHer sitting
on the sideline cheering everyone on and I tossed her
my WISH shirt that I was carrying so I could rub my
aching back as I finished the race. I was thinking that
I could easily head back to the spot she was at to grab
it, but wasn't able to get back there in time.

so..... If you were that kind sole that I stuck with my shirt,
I apologize, I thought you'd only be stuck with it for a
couple of min. and second I'd really like it back for sentimental
purposes being my first race. I'll cover all shipping costs.
So if anybody knows who it is, please let me know.

Again... it was so great to see everyone there and next year
I'm going to run the 1/2 and stay until Monday so I can scream
for fellow WISHers on the full!

Congrats on your finish!!!!

Have you posted on the Events sub board looking for the shirt? I know Anne went over there she was the one with the super tall hat (i think it have stars on it but i lost my memory cells around mile 20 the next day) I'm sure if you post on the subEvent board they'll be able to figure out who was at Epcot for the finish of the Half. I was happy to be at TTA and outside the Polynesian with Anne, Karen, Pat and group (again lost memory cells LOL) it was great cheering for all of you.

It was a grand time had by all wasn't it? Can't wait to be together again as a group and i can only be on the DIS for short visits today or I start crying again from missing everyone. LOL No it's true, my eyes are soooo tired and DH keeps reminding me that the Minnie is coming quick. LOL

Keep up the training!!!! Enjoy that medal!!!! You gotta love Disney medals. Congrats!!!!!! Wooohooo!!!!!!

I know someone was talking about the shirt... It is definitely had by a WISHer...

I believe you tossed it to Helen.. who lives in Australia... and she gave it over to someone in the states so that when it was asked about we would be able to get it to you. Now.. if I could only remember who told me that story!! LOL!!!

But.. do what the always intelligent Diane says.. Post on the sub board.. Events... and your shirt will shortly be in your hands!!

At the top of the board is also a listing of where you can find team mates racing thru the year.

be sure to post on many threads!! Windwalker (Party Panda Dave) is helping us train thru the year by organizing "team within a team" - WISH team spirit is strong, but so far he has 8 teams, and has room for more - just post!!

The weekly thread is one for encouragement and all kinds of help and advice - so just post!!

There are stickys that have so much useful info in getting a plan started, or keeping you going!!

Its a lively bunch now after the Marathon stuff - and they are getting ready to order new shirts - so post!!

dont let it detir you, all are so very welcoming!! Lots of new posters from Marathon weekend too - so come on over...
