Vyvanse and Zoloft?

My son (8) started Zoloft 25mg to be increased tomorrow to 50mg about a week ago and I noticed a change in him in a couple of days. Then, yesterday was his first day on Vyvanse. Wow! I pray this keeps up. He had a wonderful day without seeming "dull" and lethargic like with Adderall. He says he was able to focus and his work didn't seem like such a chore. However, he also started working with a new para who he really connects with (this is HUGE for him - he is extremely sensitive and doesn't work well with some personalities).

Anyone else's child on this combo? We were doing adhd meds alone, but his anxiety was skyrocketing and he was having panic attacks at school. :*(

Also, they're bringing in an assitive technology expert to see if he can help him and they're talking about getting him a keyboard, since he's been diagnosed with dysgraphia and the behavioral specialist said writing seemed "torturous" to him. Of course, these are things I've been saying all along, but...

Now our main fight is with them reducing his work load. They are very resistant despite his being on or beyond grade level in all areas (except writing) and scoring 7th grade level on reading and math MAP tests (and he has a high IQ, which often hurts more than it helps, in this school setting). I think this fight is going to be a long one.
