VWL Wait list now that renovations announced.

I have two nights in December wait listed at VWL. How is the wait list being handled now that the renovations are announced and it appears that Disney will be reducing room availability? (From other posts I am assuming DVC will be reducing the number of units available due to construction.)

Unknown, DVC hasn't said anything. I talked to MS a few weeks ago about our VWL reservation and they didn't say a word about construction. A couple of weeks later we received a letter from the WL GM advising us of the construction.

Are they wanting empty rooms for some construction reason or are they just moving guests due to the noise?

I wonder if they are taking rooms out so they don't have to deal with complaints or comping people, which will make availability difficult.
