I just received my Disney Documents and it states two bedroom villa for reservation at Wilderness Lodge. I requested dedicated two bedroom but it doesn't state dedicated, should it or do they all say two bedroom villa on documents?

Thanks.

We just had a "Dedicated 2 bedroom" at SSR and it was stated on the reservation. (OKAY, we didn't just have it, I had waitlisted for a treehouse and got that, but yes, our reservation form did have dedicated prior to this current reservation!) I'm guessing if it doesn't say it, you may have a lock off. Call if you want to know for sure.

We are staying on a cash reservation at the villas, and I wonder if that makes a difference? My original confirmation from my TA states that the villa would have two queen size beds in the second bedroom. Should I be concened that we will not have a dedicated villa?

As indicated, if you have a 2BR reserved it will say so on the reservation. My guess is that you have a lock-off for your reservation. I would call your travel agent or the resort directly to get the status confirmed.

FYI, even if a reservation says dedicated 2BR, it is not guaranteed. Something may come up to make the dedicated 2BR unavailable and any of us could end up with a lock-off instead.

I have been wondering about this. We have reservations for a 2 bedroom villa in October and was curious if the 2nd bedroom would be a queen bed and a pull out.
If I am reading this correctly, the dedicated would have 2 queen beds, but the lock-off would be a queen and a pull out, do I have that correct?
Do any of them have bunk beds and a queen?

TIA

All dedicated 2-bedrooms at VWL have 2 queens in the second bedroom. Some dedicated 2-bedrooms at other DVC resorts do not.

Answered this on the Resort forum but will repeat in case you did not see it. When you book with cash you are automatically booked into a two bedroom dedicated.

You will get the dedicated unless there is a problem that would prevent that, in that case you would be given a lock off which is a studio and a one bedroom.

I have a reservation at OKW for a 2BR and the e-mail confirmation I received does not indicate dedicated. I checked on the member website it does say dedicated 2BR, though.

Does VWL have both dedicated and lock off 2 bedrooms? When I did my waitlist today she said "dedicated 2 bedroom at VWL"...so my question is...which are there more of? Should I call back and make my waitlist for a lock off 2 bedroom instead?

VWL has 44 dedicated 2 bedrooms and 45 lock offs. Do you already have another waitlist? Can you waitlist both?

I also have a waitlist for BWV. I did have a waitlist for a treehouse but cancelled it. Bobbiwoz....you go to wdw a lot...which do you think i'd have a better shot at? vwl or bwv? i'm guessing neither for december..lol

Since it is such a small resort, VWL would probably be tougher to book for December than BWV. Good luck! :)

The member website is what I would go by. When they converted from hard copy confirmations to e-mails they might not have picked up the dedicated vs lock-off designations. If the member site says dedicated, I should think that you would be good to go. :)

You are reading correctly. And no, none of the DVC units have bunk beds except for the Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs Resort. :)

BWV simply because of the size, it so much larger than VWL. VWL is very small and big demand for December probably their busiest month.

supersuperwendy, I agree that you have a better shot at a 2 bedroom at BWV, if you waitlisted for the preferred/garden view, not either Boardwalk view or standard view!

Thanks for the help guys! I just called and got a boardwalk view for Dec.2! Now I'm waitlisted for the 3rd boardwalk view and also for the 2 & 3 standard view. So hopefully it works out otherwise we r going from BWV to SSR to Jambo!
