VWL to Poly

We always do breakfast at Ohana's our first morning on every trip. This next time, we'll be staying at VWL (first time!!) It seems that we should be able to walk the mile-or-so to the Poly that morning. What do you think? We'll have friends with us that are looking for a "relaxing" vacation, so we may just take a boat and the monorail, but I thought the walk might be nice to offer.

I don't think there is a safe way to walk to the Poly from Wilderness Lodge- while there are streets they don't have sidewalks on them and are not made for pedestrian use.

No way to walk from WL to Poly as far as I know. Take the launch to the Contemporary and then monorail to Poly. Or take the launch to the MK and then monorail or boat to the Poly.

I agree here with the other posters. Not as close as you may think and no where to walk. VWL is one of our home resorts and we love Ohana's. The boat and then the monorail is a nice relaxing trip.

Absolutely do not walk. If you plan to do the boat & monorail make sure you give yourself enough time. Plan on at least 45 min. Or you can just take a taxi & be there in 5 min.
