VWL studio vs. WL standard size

Hello! The last two trips we've stayed at WL and loved it! This time, we're renting points to stay in a studio at VWL (it will be 3 of us: DH, DS (7) and myself). It will be great to have the microwave and minifrigde! When I look at the pictures on Deb Willis' site, the studios look almost smaller than the standard rooms at WL, but I figure it must be camera angles as her site says the studios are 356 sq. ft. and the WL rooms are 340 sq. ft. A different site said the VWL studios are 385 sq. feet. Can anyone say give their opinion comparing the two?

We've stayed in the WL rooms and seen the VWL studios. I think the 356 figure is about right...the studio is not a lot larger than the standard resort room.

Differences: studio has a pull out sleeper/sofa so you get lots more room when the bed is not in use. Also, the studio has more closet space (I think that's where some of the room goes to). Then there's the amenities in a studio....small fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster.

The rooms we stayed in at WL had the bunk beds and a regular bed. The bunk beds were a big hit with the kids....but not available at VWL.

Only my opinion, but DVC really shines when you get to the 1BR and larger accommodations. Then the difference between a resort stay and a DVC stay are night and day.

Yes Granny - the one bedroom are very nice - but if it either use a studio or don't go - I vote for the studio.

VWL is a lovely resort - you will have a great time.

to have what you need for the kitchen - they had to change the room a little - so instead of the bath room being the whole area (like in a room) - part of it is the bathroom (they are little smaller) and the other half is the where all the kitchen stuff is.

the sleeper/living area is probably got a little more space - if you put up the sleeper sofa every day. otherwise it is smaller.
