VWL Studio - Is Sofa Sleeper Comfortable?

Staying in a Studio in the Wilderness Lodge Villas for the first time. It appears that I will get the pleasure of sleeping on the sofa sleeper with my 12year old son. Are the sofa sleepers new? Are they comfortable? We stayed in a Studio at the Beach Club Villas last year and they had brand new sofa sleepers that were more comfortable than the bed. Is there room for a blow up mattress in the Studio?

They have not upgraded the pull out sofas there as of yet. I keep hoping though...

No, they're not comfortable. Still the old sleeper sofas. We just got back from a big family trip and one of my nephews only lasted two days on the VWL pullout. Then, it was back to Marriott Grande Vista with his parents - he just turned 17 and he said his back was killing him and he had to get some rest. The first night back at Grande Vista (they have great beds and sleeper sofas) he slept until 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon. He was wore out.

We stay in a 2 bdrm last month. My mother had no complaints about the one in the studio portion and my DD7 & DN9 had no complaints about the one in the living room. To each his own.

I agree with the "to each his own" statement. We've had adult men/women sleep on the sofa beds in VWL studio and these people have said it's been fine. One DS is inclined to complain about things, but didn't.

My 79 yr young mother stated on one for a week no complaints at all.....I guess having 7 kids might make ya not swaet the small stuff??????

Hi there,

As said before each to there own. I suffer after multiple injuries that are years old and manage fine on the sofa when needed.
