VWL or BCV w/2 toddlers??

Any and all input please: I'm currently waitlisting for late August at BCV. We have 2 toddlers (1 and 3 y/o). I first thought that BCV would be the better choice this trip considering the proximity to Epcot and MGM.
Now I'm having second thoughts, like "well VWL has the boat ride to MK and then the monorail to Epcot would be good..."

I dunno!!! My wife really dislikes folding up the stollers and squeezing on the bus with the little ones. Any veteran advice out there?

At BCV you can walk to Epcot and walk to MGM. MK & AK you will have to fold up the strollers and take them on the bus.

At VWL you have to fold up & take stollers on the buses to MGM, AK & Epcot. You will also need to fold them up and take them on the boat to MK.


If your wife hates to fold up strollers that much it seems BCV is the best choice.

I'd go with BCV with the 2 toddlers. The main pool is much more toddler friendly with a sandy bottom to play in & at that age they won't be asking to go to the MK as much as a 5 or 6 yo, allowing you to do more "adult" (MGM & Epcot) touring (enjoy it while it lasts!)

The one thing I see against BCV is that there is a very long bus ride back from MK. But with WLV you'd be hiting the busses for everything but the MK (& Epcot if you transfer to monorail)

I guess it depends where you'll be spending most of your time. We loved VWL when the kids were small because every morning we took the boat to MK, came back for lunch and naps, then went to a whatever park we wanted to do for late afternoon/evening. We loved the quiet pool vs. the regular pool (until they were old enough to realize there was a slide at the other pool!!). We would also take them over to Fort Wilderness (short boat ride) for the petting zoo (not sure if they still have that) or the nightly campfire. Have fun whatever you decide!
