I was just reviewing my res. confirmation for our trip in June, and noticed the (LOCK-OFF) part. We'll be staying 14 nights, the first 4 in a 1 bedroom with my DH there, then he goes back home and we'll be changing to a Studio (gotta save those points!!!). On both ressies it has LOCK-OFF after the Studio and the 1 Bedroom.

Has anyone had any experience doing this? In looking at the Member Guidebook it looks like the "Lock-Off" Studio will be different from the regular Studio because it combined with a "Lock-Off" 1Bedroom can be used as a 2 Bedroom. Will the studio have a bed and sleep sofa, or 2 beds

Are you confused!!:o

I'm assuming that they're doing this maybe so that we can just shift all our things to the studio section instead of having to completely move.

Also, since this will be part of a "Lock-Off" 2 Bedroom, how limited will I be as far as location?

Help!!:D

Keep in mind that there are few dedicated studios or 1BR's at VWL (I'm not sure there are any).

There are dedicated 2BR's, which have 2 queen beds in the 2nd BR, but I think that the lock-offs all have the sleep sofa.

You will have to completely check out of the 1BR and check back into the studio- as they are completely different rooms- even if they are next door. It would be different if you were in a 2BR lock-off- then you could remain in the studio and vacate the 1BR lock-off component.

You should ask at the desk if they can get you into your studio as quickly as possible, since you will be "homeless" during the transition time. Sometimes they are able to help with minimal time between. It will help if you don't have specific room requests for the studio. You could be without a room from 11AM until 4PM- so be prepared.

Good Luck!

Hey, BraveMom3! Just wanted to say hi to a fellow Mississippian (even tho we're transplants). Live in McComb, work in Jackson. Don't see many Mississippians on these boards; I guess it's because most of us don't have electricity and can't get on the internet;) Then, too, not living on a paved road makes it hard for us to get to town, much less to Disney:rolleyes: .

Seriously ... we're brand new owners at VWL. Wish we were going in June!
