VWL Kitchen Questions

Okay I have been tasked with researching and planning our families first trip to WDW (2 grandparents my DW, DS (7) DD (3) and I) so far things are going swimmingly. We will be staying in the two room VWL room with the kitchen and I plan on doing most of the cooking as the grandparents will be doing most (all) of the paying. So for menu planning purposes how well stocked are the kitchens as far as cooking utensils go? Is there any access to a grill?

We will be doing lighter breakfasts and lunches and ahave a few fun dinner rezes but I would like to cook fun dinners for everyone.

The one bedroom units have pretty well stocked kitchens. I never found myself wanting something that wasn't there. I know that other DVC resorts have grills outside somewhere....I just can't for the life of me, remember where they are at VWL. Have you tried asking over on the DVC boards?? They have a ton of info.
