We are planning to reserve a 2 bedroom at VWL for July 2010. We are a party of 4 to 6 adults and one 2 yo. I plan to put 2 adults with baby in the studio, and the 2 other adults (if they come) in the living room, and we would take the main bedroom, of course!

I am thinking of requesting the lockoff because the 2 yo would need the crib and I assume the lockoff would have more floor space if the sofa bed is folded up?

Anything else to consider?

We've had a few dedicated 2 bedrooms at VWL. In the dedicated 2 bedrooms at VWL that we had, the area with the sink in the "studio" room is huge. There's plenty of room there for the pack and play or even a full crib, I believe. In the dedicated 2 bedrooms at VWL there is no sofa in that second bedroom. There are 2 queen beds.

We had family with children with us and didn't want that second entrance to the villa, which of course you would have with the lock off.

Stick with the lock off. That gives the baby family their own AC/heat control, their own fridge, and their own front door if they want to leave their room without disturbing others.
