VWL Construction View?

Does anyone have recent pictures of your view from your villa at WL? I've heard construction views and noise are terrible and I'm considering switching to a different resort for my next trip in Jan 17.

VWL is a major construction zone at this time, with half of the villas overlooking a very busy work site and a lot of dirt and equipment. I would suggest moving your reservation if you think that would dampen your vacation. Many have stayed there and indicate that the noise is not a factor. But since your avatar suggests that you have a very young child that will need naps, I would move the reservation to pretty much any other DVC resort. Here's a picture of VWL construction taken a few weeks ago from a VWL room.

Yes, same area but it's expanded.

As Kathy said, yes that is the new pool. You can see about half of the rough-out for the pool so it will be considerably larger than it used to be. And the building in the background is the new restaurant...no confirmation yet but it is suspected to be a quick service place.
