There could well be the opposite effect. Copper Creek will be a stand alone DVC and thus its owners will be able to reserve VWL, now becoming Boulder Ridge Villas (BRV), only at 7 months out or less and BRV owners will be able to reserve Copper Creek only at 7 months out or less. I do not think it is even arguable that the price per point will be less than $160 for Copper Creek or that the points needed per night will be the same or less than BRV for like rooms, and most likely they will require more poitns per night. That will likely result in higher demand for BRV at 7 months out as Copper Creek owners seek the bargain per night point cost at BRV, and still be at Wilderness Lodge, while owners of BRV won't be rushing to reserve Copper Creek at 7 months out because of its higher per night point cost. Result: BRV will be seeing greater demand than before. Moreover, the last thing a BRV owner should want is for the two resorts to be combined as one DVC with all rooms subject to the same 11 month window. All you need is for Copper Creek rooms to cost one point per night more than the comparable room size at BRV and you will have droves of new Copper Creek purchasers using the 11 month window to reserve BRV, effectively destroying any 11 month advantage the existing BRV owners currently have.
