VWL, 7 Month-Window, Christmas 2008

Hi all, any thoughts as to what my chances are to get VWL at the 7 month Window from December 26th 2008 to January 4th 2009?

I hope to book a 2 bedroom at VAK at the 11th months window, but would love to switch for VWL simply becuase I want to be on the boat root. Easier for Strollers etc.

I am sure it is a long shot and I will have to waitlist. We love VAK so it is not a bad second choice.

You and I are in the same boat! I would love to be a VWL next December, but everyone has told me it will be next to impossible at the 7 month mark -- everyone wants to be in a wilderness setting around Christmas! So I'm going to book a 2BR at AKV and throw myself on a wait list.

We are hoping for earlier in December but we'll also be holding our breath for that 7 month window.

Highly unlikely, but you could go on the wait list and see what happens!

We stayed at VWL the week before Xmas and it was pretty special, I have to admit.

Just so the OP knows, the boat route you still may have to fold up your stroller. The bigger of the 2 boats that serviced WL didn't require folding the stroller but the others did. Just FYI.

That week is absolutely THE busiest, and VWL is the most popular around Christmas. I would be prepared with Plan B.
