Vows Renewal

Has anyone renewed their vows on DCL? I am curious as to the details, such as, when do you sign up, how much, etc, etc. I am planning to renew them on the March 22, 2003 cruise. I already have a phone number to contact, but I would like to read your personal experiences. By the way, we will be celebrating our 30th anniversary. Thanks in advance.

The Disney Fairy Tale Weddings folks are who you would book the vow renewal through for the Disney Cruises. I will forwarn you that it is very pricey to do this on board the ship, or on Castaway Cay.

Many people have chosen to renew their vows on the islands such as St Thomas and report back that it was a wonderful experience.

WHEN I WAS ON THE 3/23 CRUISE, A LADY I MET RENEWED HER VOWS, SHE SAID IT WAS AWESOME, SHE SAID THEY HAD A 2 TIERED CAKE, CHAMPAGNE, SHE SAID HER SERVERS WERE ALLOWED TO COME, THEY ALSO DECORATED THEIR ROOM AND DOOR, AND ALSO FOUND A ROOM FOR THEIR CHILDREN TO SPEND THE NIGHT IN, SHE SAID THE BOUQUET WAS BEAUTFIL, RED AND WHITE ROSES, SHE SAID IT WAS SO HEAVY, SHE TOLD ME IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY

Thanks for the info! I checked already and it is expensive, but sounds like my wife would really enjoy it!! I will have to post our experiences after our trip. Thanks again for the nice and helpful comments!!

We're one of the "renewers to be". We're celebrating our 20th and renewing our vows on the 9/28 Magic. I checked into renewing them while on the cruise versus at WDW and possibly on one of the islands. The renewal on the cruise wins. Even though it is a bit pricey on DCL we feel it's an experience not to skimp on. Everything that Disney does is first class and with something as important as our renewal we feel it will be done right.
