Vow renewals in Florida

Hi

DH and I have been to hell and back over the past few years and have decided that (if we have enough pennies!) we will have our long awaited honeymoon next year. As we have been through so much together and there have been some very bad times, we would like to renew our vows also.

There is no way we can afford a Disney celebration, and I know there is a chapel off I Drive, but can anyone come up with any other places or ideas? It doesn't have to be in the Disney immediate vicinity - we were told about Kraft Azalea park for example.

Any ideas that won't cost us a fortune but that will be memorable? We will also need a good, reasonably priced photographer who can take just a few pics as there will be just the 2 of us at the ceremony.

In Ormond Beach which is 1hr 15 min from Disney there is bicentenial park that has a pavillion which is right across from the ocean. Really beautiful and I dont think it cost anything, my stepson got married there...then there are really nice places to stay over night on the beach for very reasonable. How many years have you been married? Next year will be our 25th and we want to do a vow renewal...we're thinking of a place on the river where we were originally married...although it is now a luxurious country club so not sure if its in our budget, going to vegas or doing it at one of our motorcycle hangouts with all our biker friends. A few years ago, when I first started thinking of renewing our vows, I got info from one place. I can't remember the name, doggone it. I'll see if I can find the info and pass it on.

I think for us to do a renewal with 20 people, photos, a dove release, and renting a limo (and I think there was something else, too) was going to be less than $1000, so I'm sure it would be considerably cheaper for just a simple ceremony.

We were married in a chapel in Kissimmee in 2002! It was just the two of us and our package was pretty inexpensive. We had a cake, champagne, a photographer, and they recorded our ceremony and put it on DVD. I think we paid a whopping $500!
