Voucher valid for AP discount rooms?

Hello All -

I would like to purchase an AP and use it to book an AP-discounted room for later this year. But I will only be purchasing the AP voucher online. Will the voucher contain enough information for me to log in online and see the discounted rates, or will I need to have the AP activated first?

I believe you will not be able to see the rates until activated.... You can always call to get the AP rates.

We purchased Annual Passes a few months ago to be picked up when we arrive (no vouchers are mailed). Once the email reference number is linked into MDE you will can see any passholder discounts as long as you are logged into your Disney account. You cannot however view the private passholder site until passes are activated.

It should be fine when you enter the voucher number into MDE. I was able to book just fastpass with mine. Call a CM to confirm
