VMK Timer - Confirmed!

A host just confirmed that there *IS* in fact a dc timer! She told me they thought they had set it for a longer time today, but that was not the case. They are going to fix it for tomorrow though.

Isn't that an interesting fact. I'm not suprised, but what's worse is this: during the Ask the Host event, HOST_Hula told me, when I asked if there was any way to get more time before a player dcs, she told me there was no timer, and then she told me to keep moving and the not moving timer has a 5 min warning. I never once mentioned anything about a timer. Hmm, kind of makes you think HOST_s don't want us to know about this timer.

No, the hosts do know about the timer. It's long been a given fact that they are subject to the same time out timer that we are. used to be an hour, then was down to 45 minutes then today 30... I've been told by various Hosts that it is settable but they personally have no control over it.

I did not need it confirmed I knew it....and I HOPE they do FIX it tomorrow because every 30 minutes is a PAIN in the Bottom!

I posted about this a week ago and someone called me a liar.

The 30 minutes made me not want to play. Either that or I am going to keep a timer on my desk so I can disconnect myself when appropriate and not in the middle of a converation, game or trade.

Or in the middle of my best fireworks game ever! It happened to Briar Lori too! - and at the time I disconnected she was beating me quite handily! I hope you were able to go on and finish that game BriarLori, because you were in first, the last I saw.
