i think you mean how jeff put down vmk central? I do know where he is coming from tho, he doesnt feel its the right place for it is what i think he really meant, but i know many people listen to him to, so i just mentioned it.

you mean you got an email saying it? Not sure what you meant there. But I can put a tip this week on how to unsubscribe to the podcast. That might help that situation.

skype is only free for skype to skype. Having a voicemail or calling a regular phone costs $$$

I think you have trouble knowing that there is a line you should not cross, or you at least have trouble seeing where it is.

There is constructive criticism and there is criticism, I will accept the first, but not the latter.

I just finished listening to episode 6. I started it yesterday, but didn't budget enough time, not realizing it was practically a double length episode. It was time for me to leave work before it was over.

Anyway, you didn't do too bad of a job with my Dis/ VMK name. Actually, you might be pronouncing it better than me. It's the name of a character from a book, so I don't know how the author intended it to be pronounced. I always pronounce it with the accent on the second syllable instead of the first, but you may be right

Oh, and I have some spare cards. I was planning on trading them for the white snowman and halloween pumpkin cards, but I think I can let some of them go. I doubt anyone will trade those two cards for some of the cards I'm offering. Unfortunately, I can't offer you the cards named on the podcast, because I'm thinking maybe someone WILL trade me the two cards I need for those cards. Do you want any of the basic quest cards?

I think the better podcasts have more hosts that way discussion starts up and we get talks going about new subjects.

Mnementh, I have all the regular quest cards, but thanks for the offer and I was a little shocked myself with how long it went. I personally want it to be cut down to about 20 minutes. I think when Halloween is over it can be done. So many changes and updates to the game have just made there be many more subjects than usual.

As far as the skype situation goes. I have come to the conclusion that I will not skype with any minors. I dont know how old everyone is, but I cant condone a minor talking to a stranger pretty much "on the phone". I wouldn't let my kid do it, so I just think it would not be correct of me to spread a different value on someone else child. Sorry if some of you would be disappointed in that decision.

Just for everyone elses knowledge, I will probably be requesting this thread closed after the release of the next podcast. I am a little tired of being publically berated after each episode. I dont get paid for this, and I never claimed to be an entertainer. I am an experienced player who has seen the game evolve from the beginning, and thats all I ever claimed to be. If you do not find my information useful, or entertaining I simply suggest you no longer listen to the podcast. I think I mentioned in episode #5 that if it is not fun or becomes to much of a burden then I will no longer do it. Episode #6 was almost the last episode.

I have a couple of Disney podcasts I suscribe to that I have been listening
to since the beginning. If you take their first handful of shows and compare
them to the shows now, over a year later, there's a HUGE difference in
show production. They relaxed, got their groove on, and it didn't happen
overnight.

I must admit that I am far behind on my podcasts, and I've only listened
to your first show so far. I felt you were just dipping your toe into
the pool, so to speak. I should listen to the rest of your shows in order
to fully criticize you.

I had wanted to do a VMK podcast, but I know that I don't have the time,
energy and patience required to produce a show. My advice to you is
to do what YOU want to do, and don't listen to the kids who are
Backseat Podcasting for you.

And you can also filter e-mail to get rid of certian ppls automaticly if it is always the same person.

If you do close this thread will you still be taking emails about the show so ppl can send in stuff about the show like good feedback and ideas to talk about?

I'm a little curious about this comment. You say publically, which means it's not by email, so you're either referring to posts on forums or reviews on iTunes. I personally can't get on iTunes, so I can't see what people are saying on there, but if you're referring to the forum, I've kept up with this thread from the beginning and I have only seen one criticizing comment that was anything other than constructive. I don't go on other forums, either, so my view of the situation is limited, but it doesn't seem like you're really being berated.

I'm with Alphawazup in that I don't want the show to end, either. If you do decide to end it, I hope it's because you just don't feel like doing it anymore and not because of other people's negative comments.

Your show has been quite the inspiration for me.

The critics that are getting under your skin, are the same ones that would change their tune for a free transformer. Don't sweat it bro, unfortunately, alot of appreciative people are silent.

I enjoy the show. It's pretty awesome to hear the game broken down from another gamers prespective. I mean, how many random people do you hear with your ears talk about VMK?!

Tampa, Thanks that was very kind to say. I am usually tougher than this haha, but wow after finishing episode #6 I felt really good about it. Thought I would drop by to see if there was any feedback and I read I am boring and should quit. Cut a little deep, but I heal quick.

mewmewpwr, I am glad you like it. I had a great time writing it and recording it. I hope someday some of the vmk_'s hear it. I bet it would get a giggle from at least Yavn, Hula, Lily, and Fin. Either that or a boot I would be proud of either haha!

Alpha the funny thing about space month is that I will be recording on monday (before) and then taking halloween off, and then mixing it together on Wednesday when it already started. Because of that I dont want to predict to much and be oh so wrong before I push the podcast haha! So we will have to see about that
