In disneyland the pumpkins are everywhere around Haunted mansion too so I assume this is mimicking there. Its called Nightmare before Christmas and it meshes Halloween and Christmas in the Haunted mansion. I bet thats why they are still there in VMK.

Yea, they did it last year too through Christmas, it's because of the Holiday Haunted Mansion at DLR.

But yeah- the ones in the HM lobby are supposed to be there for the holiday...
