VMK not deleting accounts after six months?

I have three accounts that I haven't been on since July 5, 2007. None of them have been deleted. Am I just immune to the white glove?

Not sure if you are immune but it appears that VMK is not deleting accounts on a regular basis. I have a friend who has not been on since 5/5/07 and she is still on my friend's list.

I am beginning to wonder if the new platform of VMK changed the deletion of accounts after a certain date. Just a guess that the new way it loads (with the spinny thing) has allieviated the need to perform the deletion all the old accounts. Just my opinion.

I for one am sort of happy to see this. I have a freind in the game who joined the military and is serving right now in Irac. He was so nervous to leave and I feel so bad for him, I only wish I knew how to contact him out of game to send him encouraging letters and such. Anyway his character has not been signed into since October and I was worried he will come back home to it gone. Now there is hope. Who knows. I dont even know if the game will have any meaning to him when he returns or if he will even try to come back but I rather let him decide its over than arbitrary delete of accounts. I wont delete him as a friend in any case.

Maybe you could write contact us and explain where he is and if they decide to delete accounts if there is someway they could save his. Not sure if that is possible since they probably have a button they push that says delete all accounts not active from this date. But worth a try.

Have friends on my list who haven't logged in since last April and May and there still on it..I hope they don't get deleted so I can see them again if they come..my first account was in 2005 and I'm not sure if its still there but even if it was I forgot the account info

They deleted my account when I did not log on for over 6 months. My computer wouldn't let me sign on. I had one of those "here since day 1" things and everything. But now I am starting alll over.

Maybe it is hit or miss? I have some accounts that were at the 6-month mark at Christmastime and they were deleted when I tried to log into them after reading this post. Of course, I may have just written the password down incorrectly.

Just checked about 5 old accounts..haha I shared one with each of my friends Most of them are all from 2005 and 2006 but I had to request for my passwords and accounts on that member help site and when I got them logged in but all of them said that it was a long time since I've played VMK and have to start all over ;(
I wish they didn't delete accounts..its terrible I had so many great friends on my old account but I got many great friends on Fairy too =D
But that means some of my friends who haven't come on for 8 months to a year might not get a chance see their friends again..
