And yes, I do expect that everyone will get them, as that's what "participation" implies. I believe VMK was trying to explain that all of the finalists will receive these prizes in addition to their prizes for winning.

I seen to remember that it took awhile to get everyone's prize out after the space ride competition. We'll just have to be patient; again.

I don't think they would call them "participation" prizes if they weren't for everyone who participated. It sounds to me like they wanted to be clear that the winners would ALSO get the participation awards. I guess we'll have to wait until people start getting their awards. The top ten pin is confusing but do you remember how shocked people were when we got that orange tomorrowland pin last time?

I will say that my flag and getting to be there when Lily dropped it off is a pretty good award in my book. Maybe the best 5-10 minutes I've had in this game.

OK after seeing the winners I have to say this.

Wow!!!! I soooooo didnt deserve to win ROFL. I can freely admit that. Great work winners, and I was glad to see so many of our peeps in that list. You all rock!!!

Why? The Top 10 Pin is listed, and we're not all going to get that.

I think they listed the Grand Prize prizes, the Runners Up prizes, and then the "participation" prizes that they all get.


I'll be delighted if I'm wrong, but I sincerely think I'm not.

That's what I think too. If we're right, it's sad to think of all the millions of credits 1,967 people spent on their rooms only to get nothing for participating. It stinks and hurts to lose, but at least before you knew you got a little something for effort. So much for that, I guess.

Huh, and those people who never got to enter in the competition just because the way VMK did for the registrations, who started building and had nothing else to say than keep the room for themself or friends .. I am sure of one thing, it is that if they are a prize that people will be able to wear and that a lot of ppl will wear, I will say bye bye to VMK and I am like sure that it will be happening.

Yes, it is sad for them also. I posted when the registration mess happened that it wasn't handled well at all by VMK. I still think that. Sorry for not including those left out of the contest in my post; wasn't my intention.

I am almost certain that all those that participated will get the "participation prizes" except for the top ten pin (that was a mistake).
So, all who participated will get the blue winter jacket, blue winter beanie, Expedition Everest boots, and a set of 4 orange gum drop chairs. The only reason they added the * was to make sure that the winners knew they were getting the "participation prizes" along with their other prizes.

I didn't get to enter the contest either but I am still happy for the winners and don't see it as a reason to quit VMK, but everyone is entitled to feel how they want.
