Tonight?? I'm already sitting in the chat room!! :D

Yes tonight. I added the day in the post.

:badpc: Now darn it!

I was finally able to get my chat to work last week after most had left and even once in the middle of the week, but of couse it will not work now when I want it to.

came into a little too late..I'm all alone now...oh my oh my what to do. :rolleyes1

When I find myself alone in the chat room, I talk to myself. I'm quite the interesting conversationalist. Did you talk to yourself?

Jellyrolls

Sorry I had to leave early, I was exhausted from the Labor Day Pool Party I went to yesterday. We sure had alot of interesting conversations during the time I was there! (Haggis, Tripe, Who served lifeof breakfast, WDW accomodations, YC Concierge, pirates tournament, etc...) Not a lot of VMK talk... :confused3

OH! Lifeof, you told us who served you breakfast, but why was there a gold record on the wall? Did he record a Deliverance Album? :rotfl:

oh bella? guess what i had for breakfast this morning with my eggs lol?

I think I can smell it from here!! :crazy2:

SCRAPPLE!!! (Where is the throwing up smilie?)

Scrapple. Is that what the guy from deliverence served lifeof?

if so then he had a good breakfast lol. Seriously, if you cook it well, its pretty darn good. There are so many spices in it that you forget what it is hehe. ;) If i had not grown up on it and liked it, then i would prob have to side with bella and would not try it. But I loved it and ate it many many times as a very young kid long before i knew what it was. And besides, no one is exactly sure what it is, just generally what it is, which is leftovers lol.

and Jelly, i still havent mustered the guts to try haggis. I tried octopus when i was in hawaii, was like chewing on a garden hose. But those i talked to since then who do like it say it must not have been cooked correctly, so who knows, but i'm not going back for seconds in this lifetime. :rotfl2:

Fun chat last night, sorry i got the boot. Hasnt happened to me on the dis, but go figure lol. It really didnt boot, it just locked up and i had to close it. Anyhow, it was fun while i was in there. :teeth:

Well I can't figure out if he actually played the recorded version of the song (I think not), but his character played "Dueling Banjos" in Deliverance. I found one article about this guy, Billy Redden, here http://www.newyorker.com/talk/content/articles/031117ta_talk_friend.

If you don't recognize the title "Dueling Banjos", I am pretty sure you would recognize the song if you heard it. You can listen to a snippet here http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000002KEL/103-1736798-6154248?v=glance

Thank you diskrista for putting the dueling banjos in my head!! :earseek:

:p Don't worry. I punished myself by getting it stuck in my own head, too .

The gold record was of the single Dueling Banjos. I don't know who actually recorded it (and it could have been a replica). But it looked real nice.

The odd part was, I really liked the restaurant. A very family oriented place. There were so many of us, that we had a kid table. The daughter of one of the employees sat down with the rest of the girls at that table.

Also, due to the size of our group and due to the fact of the Holiday, the restaurant became very full. A customer who frequents the restaurant started helping out taking orders and delivering food.

If anyone is interested, the movie is on one of the Cinemax stations tonight at 8:05 Eastern.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: How oh how will I explain to my husband why I want to watch Deliverance on Cinemax tonight!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sounds like a nice place and that you enjoyed being there :goodvibes. Did you read that article I pointed out? I guess it mentions the place you went. Tim Burton found Mr. Redden there, too. I didn't realize he was in Big Fish.

Well I just started High-School today so I don't have any homework for the first day or two but maybe I can come because it sounds like alot and a ton of fun!! :cheer2:
